Email configuration

You can use one of the SMTP or Amazon Web Server (AWS) alternatives to configure the e-mail configuration in the application you have developed.

Open the Config Manager view mode in the application you developed to set up the e-mail configuration.

If there is a configuration you have created before in the Config Manager view mode, open the App Settings screen of the relevant configuration from the left panel. If you have never created a configuration before, create a new one.

Then open the App Settings configuration setting. Open the drop-down menu next to the Provider heading under the Mail section on the App Settings screen. Click ADD NEW in the drop-down menu.

To use SMTP as the mail provider type on the modal screen that opens afterwards;

  • Click the drop-down menu next to the Type header. Select the SMTP option in the drop-down menu.

  • On the screen that opens, fill in the requested information about your email server.

  • Create the SMTP setting by clicking the CREATE button.

To use AWS as the mail provider type

  • Click the drop-down menu next to the Type header. Select the AWS option in the drop-down menu.

  • On the screen that opens, fill in the requested information about the AWS you have. After filling the information, click the CREATE button to create the AWS setting.
