Options

Kuika allows you to configure orientation, device types, application icon, and splash screen for mobile applications during the app development process.

To configure routing, device types, application icon, and splash screen for mobile applications, open the Config Manager view in your developed application.

Open the iOS and/or Android configuration screen for your developed mobile application.

Under the OPTIONS section on the right-hand side of the screen, you can make the relevant configuration settings.

To manage screen orientations, open the dropdown menu under the Orientation heading. In the menu, you can choose from the following options:

• Both portrait and landscape orientations

• Only portrait orientation

• Only landscape orientation

Select the desired orientation based on the needs of your developed application.

To determine the device types on which the application will run, use the dropdown menu under the Devices heading. Open the dropdown menu under the Devices heading to select the device type. In the menu, you can choose from the following options:

• All devices

• Only phones

• Only tablets

Select the appropriate device type according to the requirements of your developed application.

You should add an application icon for your developed application. To add the application icon, you can upload square and round (Android only) formats under the APP ICONS heading.

In Android applications, App Icons are used in round format in certain versions. Also, in different versions, they can be used in square format. In order to support both version types, it is possible to upload both round and square Icon.

To add a square application icon, click the Choose button next to the square format Kuika logo under the APP ICONS heading. Through the Media Gallery pop-up screen that appears, you can add images in PNG file format.

To add a round application icon (Android only), click the Choose button next to the round format Kuika logo under the APP ICONS heading. Through the Media Gallery pop-up screen that appears, you can add images in PNG file format.

You can add an icon or logo to the Splash screen of the application. You can also change the background color of the splash screen.

To add an icon or logo to the splash screen and change the background color, follow these steps:

• Click the Splash screen design to add an icon or logo to the app's Splash screen.

• Through the Media Gallery pop-up screen, you can add images in PNG file format. Previously added images will also be listed in the Media Gallery.

• Complete the process of adding the desired image to the splash screen by clicking on the image you want to use in the Media Gallery.

• Under the Image Fit heading, you can choose to use the uploaded image on the splash screen in either the Default size or Stretch size.

• To change the background color of the splash screen, use the field next to the Splash Color heading and fill it with the Hex code of the color you want to use.
