Select Box
Check out the features of the Select Box element!
It is a dynamic drop-down list element. We can show the predefined city selection list in an address form as an example.
Adding Select Box
You can add the Select Box element from the Elements panel by dragging and dropping it to the screen. If you drag it to an empty area on the screen, it is added with the Row element. If you drag it into a Column you just add the Select Box element.
Select Box, supports both web and mobile applications.
1. Properties
You can add text inside the Select Box element. You can give role-based authorizations to the element as well as set its visibility with show/hide/conditional options.
Value
You can add a static value to the Value field, or you can dynamically bring a state, Input element content or a value of an action result via Symbol Picker.
Options
This is the section of the data table of the list to be displayed in the drop-down list.
Placeholder
You can add a helpful/temporary placeholder text for the end user.
Allow Clear
When data is selected, a Delete(X) icon can be added to the right edge of the element, which allows you to delete the entered values with one click.
Searchable
You can enable search in the drop-down list.
Contains Null Item
The first value of the list can be blank.
Sort By
You can have the list items sorted alphabetically A-Z or Z-A.
Authorization
You can use the authorization options for the Select Box element.
Visibility
You can manage the visibility of the element. It is always visible or hidden, or you can make it appear or hide depending on a condition.
You can add the actions you can add to the Select Box element with Add Actions.
Validation
You can add validation rule to Select Box element.
2. Styling
You can make additional edits by adding layout, fill, border or shadow to the Select Box element.
You can make visual adjustments such as environmental interior spaces and sizing. Depending on the size of the Select Box, you can align the elements in it.
You can adjust the properties such as the color and size of the Select Box text and icon with the Text section.
You can add color or image to the Select Box body.
You can add lines and corner bevels to the outer edges of the Select Box.
You can add a shadow effect to the Select Box element.
