Update User Starting Screen

Meet the Update User Starting Screen system action.

In applications developed with Kuika, a starting screen must be specified. Depending on the role, this starting screen can be changed. For example, while a user sees the product list and places an order, the order list screen can be selected directly for the other user.

The starting screen can be changed for the end user of the application developed with the Update User Starting Screen Action.

Select the element to add action. Click +Add Action under the Properties panel.(A)

Click OnClick → Authorization ⟶ UpdateUserStartingScreen and create the UpdateUserStartingScreen action.(A)

  • username: For the start screen to be changed, the input element to which the user will write his/her e-mail address is selected.

  • startingScreenId: The desired start screen is selected from the drop-down list.

Within the created action, Symbol Picker (B) is used to select the parameter input method for the action.

While selecting Input elements, the elements on the open screen are listed in the Components heading in the list that opens with the Symbol Picker button on the relevant field. The element from which the entered data will be retrieved is selected.r.

The Update User Starting Screen action is an action that can be accessed by specific authorized users.

You can perform various operations on the Context menu (C) for the actions you create.

You can easily copy the action with the Copy option. This way, you gain speed where action repetition is required.

You can add a confirmation message for the action to run using the Add Confirmation option.

Also, with the Add Condition feature, you can specify certain conditions under which the added action should execute.

You can easily delete the action created with the Remove option.
