Chat

Check out the function of the chat element.

It is the element that adds functionality to the messaging between the developed application end users.

Adding Chat

You can add the Chat element from the Elements panel by dragging and dropping it to the screen. If you drag it to an empty area on the screen, it is added with the Row element. If you drag it into a Column, you're just adding a Chat element.

You can select the user who can message, or you can set the dark/light mode according to the light mode of the application you have prepared. You can give role-based authorizations to the element as well as set its visibility with show/hide/conditional options.

Datasource

You can select the data source to display the message history.

Current Username

You can get the last user information on the screen where the chat element is used.

Dark Mode

You can have the element displayed in dark mode in accordance with the light mode by default.

Authorization

You can use the authorization options for the Chat element.

Visibility

You can manage the visibility of the element. It can be always visible or hidden, or you can make it appear or hide depending on a condition.

You can add the actions to the Chat element with Add Actions.

You can make additional edits to the Chat element by adding a layout, text, fill, border, or shadow.

You can make visual adjustments such as environmental interior spaces and sizing.

You can set the properties such as the color and size of the Chat text and icon with the Text section.

You can add colors or images to the chat body.

You can add lines to the outer edges of the chat and give curves to the corner.

You can add shadows to the Chat element.
