Text Area

Check out the function of the Text Area element!

Text Area is the element used to add or edit texts as long as paragraphs.

Adding Text Area

You can add the Text Area element from the Elements panel by dragging and dropping it to the screen. If you drag it to an empty area on the screen, it is added with the Row element. If you drag it into a Column you just add the Text Area element.

Text Area,supports both web and mobile applications.

You can set the value properties of the Text Area element. You can give role-based authorizations to the element as well as set its visibility with show/hide/conditional options.

Value

You can add a static value to the Value field, or you can dynamically bring a state, Input element content or a value of an action result via Symbol Picker.

Placeholder

You can add content to display as a placeholder if no value is entered for the element. You can add a static value in this field, or you can dynamically bring a state, Input element content or a value of an action result via Symbol Picker.

Allow Clear

When data is entered, a Delete(X) icon can be added to the right edge of the element, which allows you to delete the entered values with one click.

Autosize

It allows the height to be adjusted automatically according to the entered value.

Max Lenght

You can set the value character length that can be entered.

Show Count

You can have the number of entered values displayed.

Formatter

You can ensure that the entered values are only written in uppercase or lowercase letters. Here it is automatically formatted according to the type selected here, regardless of the end user's input method.

Read Only

You can make the value read-only.

Authorization

You can use the authorization options for the Text Area element.

Visibility

You can manage the visibility of the element. It is always visible, hidden, or you can make it appear or hide depending on a condition.

You can add actions that you can add to the Text Area element with Add Actions.

You can make additional edits to the Text Area Element by adding a layout, text, fill, border or shadow.

Layout

In the alignment commands given for rows or columns that are parent elements, the child elements under them are affected. You can visit the Layout page to adjust the visual arrangements such as environmental interior spaces and sizing.

Text

You can adjust the text of the element and the properties such as color and size of the icon with the text section. You can visit the Text page for detailed information.

Fill

For detailed information on filling their bodies with color or adding a background image, you can visit the Fill page.

Border

Visit the Border page to add lines to the outer edges and bevel the corners.

Shadow

The shadow effect is only displayed in web apps. You can visit the Shadow page to add a shadow effect to the row and its columns.
