Set Agent

The Set Agent action is an action that allows the appointment of an agent for a user in the system. The existence of an agent for a user enables the visibility of the tasks of both the agent and the person who has given the agent. It is an action that allows the appointed user to view tasks and take over work through the username when the agent is given.

This action allows a specific user (agent) to take on tasks at a certain stage of the workflow or helps to take over the responsibilities of other users.

You cannot give another agent to a user who already has an agent.

A user cannot appoint themselves as an agent.

To add the Set Agent action, click on +Add Action in the Properties panel.

Click on OnClick--> Process Automation-->Set Agent and create the Set Agent action. (A)

The created Set Agent action comes with the username and agent username parameters.

  • Username: It is the parameter where the username of the user to be appointed an agent is entered as input.

The user to be given an agent must be a Kuika user. Otherwise, the user entry is not made.

  • Agent Username: It is the field where the username of the user to be appointed as an agent is entered as input.

You can pull the parameters from the database by clicking on the Symbol picker, or you can enter them manually.
